Sometimes life is difficult while other times it seems to pass like a surprise road trip. The place you’re going is just barely more important than the drive to get there.

I don’t know if life’s twists and turns are inevitable in the same way the curves in a road are. Twists and curves in a road are a permanent land feature. They are inevitable and so one has to deal with them simply as they come. What preparation is there, except to slow down, perhaps expect the down shift. A certain mental preparation possibly. I simply have to keep my hands on the wheel and drive. The kids were watching Speed Racer cartoons this weekend and I have that theme music in my head. That’s good because a bit of humor goes a long way.

Nine Months has lasted longer than I ever planned for it to and it’s been fun. If you remember, the blog was only supposed to last “nine months”. That was the duration of time The Missus was going to be carrying the new baby we’ve come to know as Wingnut. Wingnut is going on sixteen months and is tough as nails.

I don’t like being so cryptic, but I’ve come to a point that I can’t write about here, not now. That’s why I am wrapping Nine Months up with this post. There’s much I want to write, but Nine Months isn’t the venue for it. I’ve been toying with the idea of ending the blog for the past couple months and I think the time to do it is now.

Thank you for reading over the past little while. Thank you for all your comments, kind words and help.

Jake, thank you for hosting the sight.

Farewell.
